Rich Red Wine Sausage Casserole - 5 Ingredients you have the most indulgent weekend comfort food❤️🍷 Serves 2-4 INGREDIENTS 8 Pork Sausages 1 Red Onion 250 Grams Streaky Bacon (Pancetta 3 Tbsp Plain Flour 500 Ml Red Wine 500 Ml Beef Stock METHOD Start by cooking and browning of your sausages in a pan, you want these to be cooked by the time you remove them from the pan (so when we re add them they’re crispy not boiling) When you have removed the sausages, add a little oil and throw in your onions, let this soften and brown for a few minutes before throwing in your bacon or pancetta. We want this to crisp up and be really golden. At this point mix in your flour so it coats the onion and bacon and little by little add in your red wine and beef stock, so this creates a thick sauce as you go. When it's at the consistency you like, spoon it over mash potato and tuck in. Indulgent and just delicious !
